I conceived a potato beetroot salad from my trip to Croatia!
Game of Thrones, Islands, Zinfandel, National Parks….. were the internet researched impressions I had on my mind when I planned my trip to Croatia in the summer of July’16.
I also browsed about Croatian food and all I got was pictures of Octopus….. being a vegetarian my gourmet dreams broke : (
2 table spoon garlic olive oil or regular olive oil
2 medium size beetroot cut into squares
2 stems rosemary leaves or dried rosemary
2 table spoon ghee (clarified butter)
2 medium size potatoes cut into squares
2 tea spoon cumin
4 stems coriander leaves fine chopped
5-6 slices pineapple coarsely grinded
3 table spoon red bell pepper fine chopped
2 table spoon onion fine chopped
2 cloves garlic fine chopped
1 green chili fine chopped
salt to taste
50 grams feta cheese cut in long rectangles
For Dalmatian style beetroot
Boil beetroot squares in water until semi soft and drain the water out.
In a medium size pan, heat garlic olive oil or olive oil.....
