Caramel and Custard Imagawayaki

Imagawayaki are a Japanese pastry, something between mochi and pancakes except with sweet potato in the batter. We got two different types - the one with the white sesame seeds was filled with custard, and the one with the black sesame was filled with caramel. The custard was delicious, but it was definitely the caramel one that stole the show.
