- How do photos get to the front page?
We have a special algorithm that takes into account pageviews, likes, comments, social sharing, and how long each photo has been around, and uses a combination of those values to calculate a score for each photo. When a photo reaches a certain score, it automatically gets pushed to the front page. This way, only photos that your peers find interesting or good-looking get to the front page. So it's important for you to check out and interact with the photos you like!

- Can I submit a photo without a blog post to link it to?
Absolutely! If you have a really good food photo you want to show off, but don't have a blog or haven't posted about it on your blog, you are more than welcome to submit a photo without a link.
- Should I submit every photo I take, even if they're only slightly different?
Think of your Fridgg profile as your own personal portfolio or photo gallery. Photographers only put their very best work in their portfolios, so you shouldn't upload every single photo you take, and you shouldn't upload photos that only look slightly different - you don't want to drown out your best work with not-so-good work!
- Is it okay to submit photos if I'm not a professional photographer?
Definitely! We welcome photographers of all skill levels.

Photos must be at least 400px by 400px, and no larger than 20MB.
- What types of files can I upload
We accept .jpg, .jpeg, and .png files.

Go to the individual photo page, and click the "Edit Photo" button below the photo.

- Why was my photo removed?
If the photo you uploaded is not of food, it will promptly be removed by the admins. If your photo gets flagged as inappropriate or spam, the Fridgg admins will review the photo and may remove it.
