Orange Cupcakes for Leukemia

While the pink ribbon is commonly associated with breast cancer, the orange ribbon is the color for leukemia - hence these orange cupcakes!

I went over to your blog and read the post associated with this photo. Thank you for your post and helping to raise awareness! I know this post is several years old, and I don't know where this terrible journey has taken your family, but it's good to know when you're not alone. My 7-year-old former nephew was diagnosed with Leukemia in February and it has been a roller coaster of emotions for his family. Though I am now slightly on the outskirts of their family, it has been difficult emotionally for me as well. I didn't even know bone marrow donation was a thing until a few months ago and I registered as soon as I learned about it. I hope your family is well.

I'm so sorry to hear that your former nephew has been diagnosed with Leukemia, but I'm glad to know my post helps. My brother is fine now, with no trace of cancer for the past several years. I really hope your nephew will be better soon... I know this can be really difficult for everyone involved. You know how to find me on twitter or via email, so if you ever need to talk just shoot me a message. :)
