Phở Spices

Star anise, Vietnamese cinnamon, cloves, cardamom pods, fennel seeds, and coriander seeds all contribute to the fragrancy and depth of flavor of phở.

I asked Allison to make me phở for my birthday, and took the opportunity to take photos of the spices she was using for it.

Oh, man. I can feel and taste the warmth of the phở already, just from the photo! Great job, guys. :) Ooooh, I'll be in Indy on Saturday, time for a big bowl of phở at the place I got that lamb from. Yum. Thanks!
